Osaka Tin Toy Institute, this is a battery-operated
(two D-cells) tin robot with a vinyl head. This
robot, very substantial in appearance and reputation,
was the most desirable of all Japanese Super
Hero character toys (originals fetch $3000 or
more). He walks forward with a lighted head,
he stops and his chest door opens to reveal
his atom power plant inside him and he also
makes sounds. This action stops, the door closes
and he resumes on his way walking forward with
arms swinging. Each is numbered with certificate
and box. Limited edition of 1,500 pieces. About
12 inches tall. |
